UN Global Compact is the world's largest initiative focusing on sustainable business. UNGC currently has over 10,000 members from all over the world. Through cooperation with governments, international organizations, companies and institutions, it carries out a number of ambitious activities, becoming a catalyst for global changes.
Since its establishment in 2000 by the UN Secretary General - Kofi Annan, UN Global Compact has been working for the environment, human rights, anti-corruption and decent and legal work.
- Why did we join the UN Global Compact? Because we consider it our duty to be part of the global initiative for sustainable development and responsible business. We want to both deepen our knowledge in this field and share our experience with others. As a local part of the organization, we can help understand what responsible business means in various contexts: national, cultural or linguistic, especially in the case of those who are most exposed to the mechanisms of unethical business. Membership in the UN Global Compact is one of the most important elements of achieving this goal - says Mateusz Sabak, co-founder and President of the Management Board of RentPlanet.
RentPlanet is a dynamic, technologically advanced, modern and rapidly growing company specializing in apartment management and rental housing. We are not indifferent to the world around us. Building a responsible brand from the very beginning was very important to us. We care about the opinion of a friendly workplace and a reliable, loyal business partner, also responsible for the natural environment and local communities.
